Loading a Round

Before taking any readings you need to load relevant meter data into your mobile device.

Select 'Load' from the main Rita Mobile home page, this will display a drop-down menu of all available meter reading Rounds. Once you have downloaded a Round you can preview which buildings are involved by pressing the 'Status' option in the top right hand corner of the screen.

The status screen lists each building/area to be visited followed by three numbers, the first number is the number of individual meters at this location, the second number is the number of reading channels, (for single channel meters there will be a 1:1 relationship between meters and channels), the final number is the number of readings taken so far during this 'Round'.

Each building row is colour coded to indicate the number of readings taken so far during this Round; Red = no readings, Orange = some, but not all, readings and Green means all Meters/Channels have been read.

Pressing on the building row will provide a detailed list of all meters in that building and for each meter the display will show the utility, meter number, the location of the meter, any notes associated with the meter and the number of channels associated with that meter.

Note: The Rita Mobile App can be stopped and started any number of times during the round without any loss of data, this mechanism extends to powering down the mobile device, running other applications and extended periods of non-use. Basically unless you use the Reset function on the Settings page of Rita Mobile, or wipe the entire device, the readings you have taken will be maintained until you upload them.
